Howard W Hawrey resides in Palm Coast, Florida USA. His passion for carving beautiful wood sculptures spans over a decade.
Howard is a member of the Palm Coast Wood Carvers. He has held carving classes for various carving organizations & wood craft stores. Representing the Flagler County Art League, Howard has demonstrated wood carving techniques & the process of creating wood carved kaleidoscopes.
Along the artist's journey of wood sculpture, Howard has touched the lives of many in need. By raffling off two unique Florida Lighthouse carvings; Ponce, Daytona and St. Augustine Lighthouses, Howard was able to raise funds to help support the Shands Children's Hospital. Giving back to war veterans was also made possible through Howard's wood carvings. During a Vet. Honoring Ceremony Howard was privileged with presenting his Hand Carved American Bald Eagle Cane to a disabled US Veteran of the Iraq War.
Wood Sculptures by Howard, gives him the greatest satisfaction of all in knowing that his carvings mean so much to many people.
